All girls students, Ward of single mothers, Ward of Defence Personal, Twin brother/sisters, Sportsman will
get 15% Scholarship on Tuition Fees.

Scholarship Process

• Students interested in applying for scholarships must complete the prescribed form available either at the institute or on the website during the
  interview phase before admission confirmation. Failure to apply before admission confirmation will render students ineligible for merit scholarships.
• Upon official admission confirmation with HIT, students will receive a formal scholarship offer letter or confirmation. Scholarship disbursement will occur on a semester-wise basis.
• Applicants must submit photocopies of all required mark sheets and certificates to qualify for the scholarship.
• If the results of the previous semester are not yet declared by the last fee submission date for the next semester, students may provisionally submit fees equivalent to the last semester’s fees. However, failure to achieve the required marks will necessitate the submission of the remaining fees.

Eligibility criteria for continuation of the scholarship

• For continuation of the Scholarship in the subsequent semesters, students must adhere to the following minimum eligibility requirements:
• During the entire previous semester, the conduct of the student should be good.
• The student must maintain academic excellence, achieving a minimum of 70% marks and passing all courses on the first attempt in the previous semesters.
• There should be no actions or omissions leading to unlawful behavior or malicious intent that would tarnish the institute’s reputation.
• Ensure attendance of at least 75% in each subject individually during the preceding semester. It’s important to understand that eligibility for the Third Semester Scholarship is contingent upon performance in the First Semester, while eligibility for the Fourth Semester Scholarship hinges on performance in the Second Semester.
• The student should not have faced any disciplinary action outlined in the student handbook or violated any norms set forth by the Institute.
• The student must not have been involved in any unfair means during examinations administered by either the Institute or the University.
• Students are required to express gratitude by sending a thank-you letter to the Director of the Institute for the generous scholarship awarded each semester.
• Continuity in studies must be maintained. If a student transfers to another institute, any scholarship awarded will have to be refunded before the College Leaving Certificate is issued.

lf any of the aforementioned criteria are not met, the scholarship for the subsequent semesters will be revoked.
