In order to bolster global partnerships, the Indian government has encouraged initiatives such as twinning degrees, dual degree programs, and joint degree programs in collaboration with foreign universities. To facilitate these endeavors, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued guidelines for promoting and upholding standards of academic collaboration between Indian and foreign educational institutions. Additionally, Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) have been established with numerous countries to facilitate student exchange programs and study abroad initiatives. With approximately 45 countries having signed MOUs with India, there is a growing momentum toward fostering a truly global learning environment through increased student exchange programs and collaborations.
